What Every Investor Needs To Learn

Many of you are probably good at picking companies to buy. You may follow some of your favorite analysts or do your own research.

BUT DO THEY TELL YOU WHEN TO SELL?

To be a successful investor, you must be alert to the markets and if 'they' give you some great profits you must learn to take those gains and then look for new opportunities.

Don't be aware to SELL. Ask yourself the question, why did I buy these stocks? Is it not to make money? There is no guilt or shame in making a profit and we are getting much better ourselves in learning this valuable lesson.

Our recent example is with Arian Silver. We have a substantial position and on April 7th, I increased my position at a price of C$0.09. The shares immediately exploded upwards and last Thursday, I sold my most recent shares purchased at C$0.18 for a very nice 100% gain in only 2 weeks.

I have no intention to become a 'trader' but when the markets give us this windfall we must be smart and take some monies off the table.

What Price Did You Pay For Your Shares/Warrants?

Frankly, it doesn't matter what price you paid. Once you own it - you own it. The only question now is "do I HOLD or do I SELL. Sure their maybe tax consequences to consider but forget what price you originally paid for holdings. Whether you bought 3 years ago or last week, focus on where do you see the price going in the next 12 months or so.

The day will come and perhaps earlier than we think, when we will need to sell substantially all of our positions. We are along way from our target prices, as we are still looking for further gains of 500% to 1,000% or more. We, like all of you, whether subscribers or not, MUST LEARN WHEN TO SELL.

For subscribers, we will do our best to alert you to our views and the views of the analysts which we follow as we approach a top. Perhaps this event will not be the ultimate peak, but, if we are correct of a major rise into January/February 2011 we must be mentally preparing for a exit around this time. Again, perhaps I will not sell everything, but rather may use the 80-20 rule and sell 80% of all of my positions.

If you are not currently a subscriber, you are missing out. I follow about 8 -10 different services. I don't know anyone who possesses the holy grail, so we like the opinions of many and then put our spin on it and will be in a better position to exit than most. At least this is our plan.
